ABOUT ME
My passion for dentistry and helping people achieve a better smile started at an early age. The benefits that an improved smile can in terms of confidence and self-esteem cannot be underestimated.
Having graduated as a dentist from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 2004 with a Distinction in Restorative Dentistry and a Merit in Child Dental Health, I went on to further my skills and knowledge with postgraduate courses and academia. This included the attainment of a Masters Degree in Endodontology (root canal treatment) with Merit, completion of the CADE one year Implant Course in Manchester, and the Michael Wise one year Restorative Course on Wimpole Street London.
A Full and active member of The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, I regularly attend conferences and training courses in Britain and Europe ensuring my knowledge is at the cutting edge of modern dentistry.
In addition, I have extensive experience in the many forms of short term orthodontic treatments (cosmetic braces) such as Six Month Smiles, Fast Braces, the Inman aligner, Lingual braces and Quick Straight Teeth.
As a Diamond Invisalign provider, I now have over 15 years experience in Invisalign Orthodontic Treatment.
I am also a validated provider of facial rejuvenation treatments such as wrinkle reducing treatments and Fillers. This validation is awarded by Allergan, the producers of Vistabel and wrinkle reducing treatments, in order to recognise high standards of training. I am also trained in the use of Dermapen, the revolutionary skin rejuvenation treatment.
